ABOUT KYLE

Kyle Kimoto is the father of six children that have struggled with the loss of their father for the last 12 years. His family has been devastated since he was incarcerated and we all have tried to pull together as a family to make it through these trying times. We pray that we will not have to wait another 18 years before we can be reunited with our Father, Son, Brother, Cousin, Uncle, Nephew and Friend. Kyle was always an important part of our extended family and not only served our family, but our community as well. Kyle was active in the community, as well as in his service to the Church and even spent time in Guatemala helping to bring running water & other necessities to remote villages.

While in prison Kyle has taught parenting classes for his fellow inmates and helped other inmates who struggle connecting with and fathering their own children and families. He has organized and facilitated events such as ‘Carnival Day’ or holiday themed family visits to promote positive and meaningful interactions between inmate fathers and their children. He also regularly teaches Sunday school. and has done his best to maintain a positive relationship with all his own children to help as much as possible with the struggles they face as they grow up without their father.

Our father is a good man. If he had any debt to pay we believe he has more than paid it. These past 12 years have been so tough on all of us, and now as our lives progress we have many new family members that are being denied an important part of their family. Our father is now a Grandfather. Some of us have missed the opportunity to have our daddy walk us done the isle at our weddings. Some of us have already missed having our dad with us at the hospital as we give birth to our first, second, third children… his grandchildren.

It is frustrating to see so many violent criminals and repeat offenders released in far less time than our father. 30 Years for a first time, non-violent white collar offender just seems so very unfair. Our entire family have lived with this unfair sentence for 12 years and we hope fair minded and kind hearted people around Our Great Country will PLEASE HELP US to plead with the President to lower our fathers sentence to something more fair and just.
