RE: Kyle Kimoto
Dear President Trump,
(May want to begin by introducing yourself… you may want to thank President Trump for his service to our Country if you like. If you are a supporter you can tell him that, etc.)
(Next you may want to write about Kyle and the reason you are writing the letter. If you know Kyle, have a relationship with him, you may want to describe it here. You can express your feelings of the unfairness of his 30 year sentence… Mention he has already served more than 12 years, etc… If you know Kyle personally, a friend or family member you can express your feeling for Kyle, if you miss him, how his absence has hurt you or other family members, friends, etc… These are just suggestions, it is good to be honest and write from your heart. Even if you have never met Kyle, you can simply express your feelings about the shockingly unfair sentence he was given.)
(Please be sure to be clear in asking for the President to show mercy and intervene in Kyle’s case to at least reduce his sentence. The President has the sole power to right this wrong, and while a full pardon would be wonderful, his family is really just asking and hoping for the President to show mercy and reduce his sentence (Commute/Commutation) to something that is at least closer to a fair sentence for the charges that were brought against Kyle.)
Sincerely,

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP

RE: Kyle Kimoto
Dear President Trump,
My name is John Doe and I am from Las Vegas, Nevada and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your service to our Country. I appreciate the work you have done to make the USA a better place for me and my family. I hope you will continue to hold China and other Countries accountable for their actions and to ensure that American Workers get to compete on a level playing field. I hope you will continue to work to bring manufacturing back to the USA and be sure that our Country remains strong on the world stage. I also appreciate your attention to Criminal Justice Reform and hope that you can bring about much needed change to a sometimes broken system.
(This is just an example, you may agree or disagree with these sentiments, again stay true to yourself and take the opportunity to express your own feelings here)
I am writing today on behalf of Kyle Kimoto and his Family. Kyle is currently an inmate in Federal Prison and he has now served over 12 years of a 30 year sentence. I believe the 30 year sentence imposed on Kyle (and his Family) is extremely unfair, and truly cruel and unusual. Kyle was charged in 2007 for what the Government said was False or Misleading Advertising that they alleged took place in 2001-2002. Kyle was tried and convicted in 2008, and he was then sentenced to a shocking 30 years for a “Conspiracy” charge for false or misleading advertising. At the time of his sentencing, the average sentence for others convicted of similar crimes was 3-5 years in prison.
(This is just an example, you may want to include specifics about the case and sentence, or just express your feelings of how unfair the 30 year sentence is, etc. again stay true to yourself and take the opportunity to express your own feelings here)
Will you please take a look at Kyle’s case and consider helping Kyle and his family by using your power as President to right this terrible injustice and reduce Kyle’s sentence to a more fair and just sentence. Please consider showing mercy to Kyle and to all his Family & Friends. Kyle has already missed so much of his 6 beautiful children’s lives, please consider reducing this unjust sentence.
(Please be sure to be clear in asking for the President to show mercy and intervene in Kyle’s case to at least reduce his sentence.)
Sincerely,
(REMEMBER TO SIGN YOUR LETTER)
